Have you noticed how many people are having knee problems these days?  Many of my friends are having knee replacements.  I wonder if some of this is because so many of us have weight problems.  I realize that the activity we have done, especially repetitive movements, causes our joints to have excessive wear and tear.  However, I can tell my knees begin to hurt when my weight hits a certain level.  As I bring my weight under control, my knees get better.

Muscle burns more calories than fat tissue.  The more active we are, the more muscle we can build.  Exercise is definitely important to a healthy lifestyle; however, we have to exercise moderately, especially as we age.  In addition, our diet needs to include more vegetables and fruit and less fats and sweets.  A nutritional scale will help determine the content of the food we eat and weigh the portions before they are placed on our plate.  This unique scale can be found at  www.holladaypartners.com   Check it out!
